Holemasters Scotland was awarded the contract at the Edinburgh Trams to drill through 20mm steel column that will hold the new rail over the inspection pits.
The Holemasters drillers used a magnetic drill and a special clamp base. The special clamp base, which can be seen in the pictures below, were made in house by our Contracts Controller Kevin Arnot. These were desgined to drill 300 number 24mm holes.
